Sailability Greater Tampa Bay, Inc.

Thank you so much for the support of Sailability Greater Tampa Bay, Inc. in the form of a check for $1000. This money has been used to buy equipment to get our sailors with severe disabilities on the water. A patient from James A. Haley VA Spinal Cord injury unit, who has ventilated quadriplegia sailed independently two weeks ago. He had a VHF radio with voice activated head set for communication, chin control, and a safety strobe light to alert the support team of ventilator functioning. It is wonderful to see people who may never of had the opportunity to participate in a sport independently. Thank you again for all that the PVA does for us, and the veterans that we have the honor to serve.
